This is one of the collages I made for 'the collage scrap exchange' initiated by papirmass and brown paper bag. A lot of people around the world who like to cut and paste exchanged there paperscraps and made new collages.

I love the collages of Katrien Debauwer; the atmophere, the materials, the compositions. There is a book with here collages "I do not want to disappear silently into the night". 

I think I want to have it......

inspiratie op maandag

I enjoyed the exhibition of Mark Rothko in the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag with mixed feelings. There was a great tension between an exhibition that everybody wants to see and artwork that needs silence and no crowd!  It's difficult to be contemaplative with lots of people around you. 

But afterwards I was inspirerd to play with colours.

 A new year , a new serie on this blog. 

I like working in new and old notebooks. 

This old copy book is full of notes and in a very small handwriting. 

I started to make collages in this book a few years ago. 

Slowly it is filled with images. It is not finished yet or full. 

But it's time to open up the book and flip through the pages. 

Every week a page!

The have a collection of new postcards and I'm happy to be a a part this new serie.

                               Isn't this wall great? It is Francobolli's special postcard service. 
                                    You can post your card a week or a month in advance.
                              The staff will make sure your card will be posted in time.
